Beginning
of the Program
The program begins on March , 2014. Students admitted to the program should take the Real Analysis course being offered during the January 06 to February 28, 2014 period. Concepts of Analysis will be seen in this course, essential to the understanding of other courses. This will promote greater uniformity within the class. Any student is welcome to participate in the course, but due to the limit on vacancies, preference will be given to those that request admission to the Professional Master’s Program in Mathematical Methods in Finance.
Schedule and Duration
Courses will be given at IMPA twice a week from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. One additional evening will be allotted to exercise classes and to supervision by monitors. Courses will be given over a quarter year and will comprise a two year program.
Payment
Monthly tuition for full-time students enrolled in the program is R$ 1.500,00 (one thousand and five hundred reais). Partial or total exemption will be conceded to students who justify lack of resources.
Non registered Students
Enrollment will also be accepted for separate courses for non registered students as long as there are vacancies. Requests for enrollment should be made up to 15 days prior to the beginning of each term. In order to apply, it is necessary to fill out a form and send it in together with the academic record, a 3x4cm photo and the curriculum vitae.
The charge per month for separate courses on January and February is R$ 1.500,00 (one thousand and five hundred reais) each and for the other months the charge is R$1.000,00 (one thousand reais) each.
