XXII Brazilian School of Probability

PUC, Rio de Janeiro, from July 28 – 31, 2018

The Brazilian School of Probability (EBP) has been organized each year since 1997 by initiative of the Brazilian probabilistic community and planned as a forum for the discussion of new ideas and developments in Probability and related areas. It is an opportunity to detect new research directions and to establish new collaborations, and an excellent occasion for students to start their scientific life. The EBP has been organized by IMPA, ICMC-USP, IME-USP, IM-UFRJ, IMECC-UNICAMP, UFMG and by UFPE, with the participation of IM-AGIMB and INCTMat, and has received support of several scientific societies and research agencies.

This is the twenty-second edition of the Brazilian School of Probability. Over the years, the EBP series has been instrumental in shaping the directions and interests of Brazilian probabilists, and has contributed to the vigorous growth of our area in the country. Strong international participation has been both a major cause and a positive consequence of these developments.
