First focus week of the Rio Workshop on Extremal and Structural Combinatorics.

Topics of interest include: chi-boundedness, the Erdős-Hajnal conjecture, Yannakakis’ clique versus independent set conjecture, structural properties of minor-closed classes. The typical structure of graphs in a hereditary family (the latter will also be a focus in Week 2).
