15th ALGA (Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry)

IMPA, Rio de Janeiro, February 6 – 10, 2023

The 15th edition of the Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry – ALGA will be held on  February 6 -10, 2023 at IMPA.  For more than 20 years, the ALGA meeting main topics are Algebraic Geometry, Commutative Algebra, and related topics in Number Theory, Code Theory, or Foliation.

Call for proposals of “Presentation by Young Researchers” – Deadline November 18th, 2022

The XV ALGA Meeting, to be held at IMPA, Rio de Janeiro, from February 6 to 10, 2023, will feature a series of Presentations by Young Researchers. These will be 15 minute talks by recent PhD’s (up to 7 years of Ph.D.) and advanced Ph.D students. We are now accepting proposals, which must be submitted by November 18, 2022. A proposal must contain title, abstract and the name/email of a researcher that could provide a reference letter. All applicants should fill in the Registration data the category as young speaker and then submit the talk in the Presentations Submission. If you have any problem to submit the documents, please, contact eventos@impa.br.
 
Financial Support – Deadline November 18th, 2022
The organizing committee has a limited number of financial support for young researchers and students. The application deadline is November 18th, with answers to be out by November 25th. All applicants should fill in the registration form and follow the instructions.
