Tenure-track position with a focus on Applied, Computational and Industrial Mathematics

The Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) is accepting applications for one tenure-track position with a focus on Applied, Computational, and Industrial Mathematics. Applications from women and other underrepresented groups are especially welcome.

The position will initially involve a trial period, with the possibility of transition to a permanent research position subject to evaluation during the first four years. The starting monthly salary is R$ 28.299,60. A higher salary may be considered depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

More senior applicants may also be considered for tenured positions.
