Publications
IMPA has established a tradition of publications in the field of mathematics, as shown by the many books and monographs published since its foundation.
These publications are aimed at the various teaching and research sectors, and their objective is to create a high-level national literature in mathematics.
The works published by IMPA's publishing house are organized into the following sections:

IMPA is also developing a collaborative project for the production of textbooks in the area, whose platform allows for constant updating and the participation of various collaborators.
How publish
Books submitted for publication in one of IMPA’s collections must be sent electronically to editora@impa.br. Files must be sent in PDF format.
By submitting the work for analysis, the author agrees with IMPA not to submit it to another publisher at the same time. The author can indicate in which collection they would like the book to be published. If the author prefers, the Editor-in-Chief may, together with the Editorial Committee, decide which collection the book is best suited to.
Originals for evaluation must be submitted in definitive form. Incomplete manuscripts will not be accepted for review, nor will manuscripts that are to be extensively reworked after submission. Submission of incomplete work will result in the evaluation process being canceled. Originals that do not fit into any of our collections will be rejected. Only unpublished work will be accepted.
The manuscripts will be evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Committee who, after a preliminary analysis, will decide whether to send them to ad hoc consultants. Based on the evaluation, the Editorial Committee will decide whether to accept or reject the work, depending on its suitability for IMPA’s editorial line. The final result of the evaluation will be communicated to the author electronically.
