PROLYMPIAN – 9th Edition
The program
The Program for the Improvement of Olympic Teachers – PROLÍMPICO aims to spread the “Olympic culture” and offer proposals for application in the classroom for mathematics teachers and school managers throughout Brazil.
Addressing issues related to the Mathematical Olympiads, the program is divided into two independent levels encompassing the elementary and secondary levels.

The program takes place virtually, with classes broadcast on IMPA’s Youtube and on the Google Classroom platform.
Registration
All applications must be made through our online system “IMPA Institucional” by 02/22/2024.
Certificate
Only registrants who complete the evaluation form will receive the certificate of participation in digital format
Schedule
9th edition
Professors Krerley Oliveira and Samuel Barbosa, coordinators of the program, invite you to the 9th PROLÍMPICO that will take place virtually from July 15 to 19, 2024, according to the calendar below, and will be broadcast on IMPA’s Youtube.
All applications must be made through our https://institucional.impa.br/ system by 07/11/2024.
Criteria for obtaining the certificate:
The teacher must access IMPA’s Youtube, watch the lessons posted during the break (15-19/07) and solve the exercises proposed in the electronic evaluation form, which will be released on 20/07 via the event’s Google Classroom. The link to enter the room will be sent via the e-mail address registered in our institutional system. At the end of this edition, teachers will be entitled to a certificate of participation if they send in their answers to the form by July 22nd and obtain at least 50% of the total grade.
Levels and programming
- Teachers can register for one or more levels.
- All registered teachers will receive an e-mail invitation to take part in the activities via the Google Classroom platform.
- Classes at all levels will be made available on IMPA’s YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/impabr
- Only teachers who complete the forms will receive a certificate of participation in digital format.
