In this seminar course, we will study various articles related to the representation and manipulation of discrete representations for continuous signals. The problems dealt with will be converting vector illustrations into images (e.g. text), from a computer graphics point of view, and resampling (e.g. image scaling/rotation), from an image processing point of view. In both cases, the priority will be to obtain the highest possible quality results (both in quantitative and perceptual terms), followed by efficiency concerns.

Note: This course is offered as a master’s course. In the doctorate, it has additional requirements.
