Training for international competitions will take place in August.

The third training session for students preparing for international mathematics competitions in 2019 will take place between August 19th and 22nd at the Canadian School of Niterói (RJ). The event is promoted by the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), through the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad (OBM) .
The students will have technical problem-solving classes and will take mock international exams. Forty-five students were invited to participate in the training.

Other students interested in the training may request participation until August 5th. Requests should be made via email to cadastro@impa.br with the subject line: “Request for a spot in Olympic training”.
Selected students will receive information about the conditions and costs of participation. Interested parties are encouraged to include a brief summary in their message indicating any previous awards received in Mathematics Olympiads or similar competitions.
