Registration is open for a symposium for mathematics teachers.

The Fridays National Symposium on Mathematics Teacher Training, which aims to contribute to improvements in the quality of teaching in the subject, is open for registration until June 30th. Click here to register . The program aims to facilitate reflection on the training of teachers in Basic Education and to promote debate on proposals for improving teaching.

The event will take place between September 1Thursdays and 17th at Unirio (Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro). For those who cannot attend in person, it will be possible to register remotely. The sessions will be streamed live on YouTube and video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom.

In its sixth edition, the National Symposium will offer activities aimed at the training and professional development of mathematics teachers in basic education, with lectures and short courses, as well as a discussion forum on current and relevant topics in the field.

The event is organized by the National Association of Mathematics Teachers in Basic Education (ANPMat) and Unirio, with support from the Brazilian Mathematical Society, the National Institute of Science and Technology of Mathematics (INCTMat), and the Bulletin of the Brazilian Mathematical Society.
