Prolímpico reaches its fifth edition in August.

Seeking to spread Olympic culture throughout the country's classrooms and encourage the training of teachers focused on mathematical competitions, the Olympic Teacher Improvement Program (Prolímpico) is in its fifth edition. Classes will be held online between August 1st and 5th. Those interested should apply by July 29th through the IMPA institutional system .
The classes will be divided into four modules. Level A is aimed at teachers of Elementary School 1, from the 3rd to the 5th grade. Level 1 is for teachers of the 6th and 7th grades, Level 2 for the 8th and 9th grades, and Level 3 for high school teachers. The objective is to provide participants with more specific knowledge, according to their area of expertise, and to stimulate an Olympic culture from an early age in schools.

Alan Anderson, Rogério Steffenon, Carlos Gomes, and Ricardo Misturini are the guest professors for this edition, which is coordinated by Krerley Irraciel. The lectures will be available for free on IMPA's YouTube channel . In addition, the problem-solving workshops and the evaluation of the mini-courses will take place via Google Classroom. Participants who complete the evaluation will receive a digital certificate.
