Opportunity: IMPA has two open selection processes.

IMPA has two open positions: administrative analyst and laboratory technician. See below for the prerequisites for each position.

Administrative Analyst – applications open until April 13th

Candidates must have a completed higher education degree in administration, engineering, or related fields; experience in the administrative and facilities sector; experience in customer service; intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in the Office suite. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, at IMPA Tech, located in Porto Maravalley. The salary is R$ 4,620.54; in addition to meal and/or food vouchers, transportation allowance; medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare assistance, and parking.

The main responsibilities of the position are: monitoring building maintenance services, reception, cleaning, telephony, security, and purchasing; preparing reports with key performance indicators (KPIs); controlling payments related to the area; contacting service recipients to validate service execution; scheduling and controlling the use of rooms and equipment; verifying invoices, bills, and receipts; entering and monitoring payments in the system; organizing, digitizing, and filing documents; among other activities.

Laboratory Technician – applications until April 13th

To apply, the professional must have experience in building parts using filament 3D printers, including mechanical modeling in CAD software (preferably Fusion 360), file generation, loading into the printer, and printing; the ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on 3D printers (Creality models), including filament replacement, cleaning, and alignment; knowledge of soldering with tin, assembling circuits on breadboards, and operating oscilloscopes with function generators and power supplies; and basic knowledge of Arduino, covering connection, software programming, and hardware assembly. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 8 am to 8 pm (12 x 36 shift), at IMPA Tech, located in Porto Maravalley. The salary is R$ 3,206.19; plus meal and/or food vouchers, transportation allowance; medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare assistance, and parking.

The main responsibilities of the position are: organizing and preparing the equipment and materials necessary for practical classes and experiments; performing calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment; ensuring the proper functioning of instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multimeters and sensors; preparing instructions for use and safety of equipment; ensuring that all safety standards are followed in the laboratory; controlling the storage and proper disposal of materials and substances, in accordance with current regulations, and managing risks, preventing accidents.
