Just like last year, medalists at level 3 of the OBMEP (Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools) will be able to compete for one of the one hundred places at IMPA Tech – IMPA's first undergraduate program. Inaugurated in 2023, the Bachelor's degree in Mathematics of Technology and Innovation offers student accommodation and financial aid to students approved in the selection process. “In addition to rewarding the most talented students from all over Brazil, the mathematics olympiad now also opens the doors to the best undergraduate programs in Brazil for its medalists, including IMPA Tech, IMPA's undergraduate program in mathematics of technology and innovation,” said Marcelo Viana, the institute's director-general. Applications for the undergraduate program are open until December 27th at impatech.impa.br . The call for applications reserves 80% of the places for students who have won awards in five knowledge olympiads, such as the OBMEP, and 20% for those who obtained the best scores in the Mathematics section of the ENEM (National High School Exam).
