Students who have qualified can print their confirmation cards and check their test locations at this link . The organization recommends that students arrive at the testing centers at least 30 minutes in advance, carrying an original identification document (identity card, birth certificate, or school ID), the OBMEP information card, a pencil, an eraser, and a blue or black ballpoint pen.

The second phase exam is essay-based, differentiated by levels, and has six questions, each worth 20 points.

Winners will be announced in December.

The winners will be announced on December 3rd on the competition's website . The OBMEP awards ceremonies will take place in 2020, on a date to be determined. Teachers, schools, and education departments are also eligible for prizes, based on student performance in the second phase ( http://www.obmep.org.br/regulamento.htm ).

Created in 2005, OBMEP is an initiative of IMPA (Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics), with support from the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM) and resources from the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications (MCTIC) and the Ministry of Education (MEC).
