INCTMat opens public call for postdoctoral fellowship.

Applications are open for postdoctoral fellowships in the areas of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics, offered by the National Institute of Science and Technology of Mathematics (INCTMat) through CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development). Applications are open until July 31st.

Up to 13 scholarships will be offered for postgraduate programs, which will be reviewed by the INCTMat Management Committee. The results will be announced by October 23rd, and activities will begin in November, lasting 12 months. For more information, please see the call for applications .

The initiative will allocate a monthly amount of R $ 5,200, in addition to a bench fee of R$ 480.00 per month, according to the CNPq table of scholarship values in the country.

To apply, the scholarship request must be submitted exclusively by the supervisor. The institute emphasizes that requests submitted directly by candidates will not be evaluated. Applications can be made using the form available at this link .

Webinar: Presentation of the INCTMat 2023 Postdoctoral Fellowship Call for Proposals – How to prepare a proposal

INCTMat will also hold a webinar presenting the INCTMat 2023 Postdoctoral Fellowship call for proposals on July 10th at 4 PM. The objective is to present the rules of the call for proposals and explain the best way to submit a proposal. The broadcast will be via Zoom. The broadcast will feature Lorenzo J. Diaz, vice-coordinator of INCTMat, Carolina Araujo, researcher at IMPA, and Professor Yuri Lima, professor at UFC (Federal University of Ceará).
