INCTMat announces list of events selected for financial support.

The National Institute of Science and Technology of Mathematics (INCTMat) released this Thursday (10) the final result of the public call for support for scientific events held in Brazil.

The 34 selected events will receive financial aid of up to R$ 20,000 each, exclusively for the payment of daily allowances to participants. The activities will be held in person between January and June 2025. Check the list of events.

INCTMat only funded in-person events that adequately reflected the gender and regional diversity of the mathematics community in the Scientific Committee, Organizing Committee, and list of speakers.

This initiative is offered by INCTMat through funding from CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) and Faperj (Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro) and aims to promote and disseminate mathematics and its applications throughout Brazil.
