IMPA opens vacancy for IT specialist 2
IMPA opened this Monday (1st) a selection process to hire a professional for the position of IT specialist 2. The deadline for registration for the selection process for the position of administrative analyst 1 was also extended. Check below the prerequisites for each position and the registration deadlines.
IT Specialist 2
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields; have solid experience in network administration and configuration; have experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Aerohive/Extreme, Dell, and HP equipment; have experience with cloud environments (Oracle, Google, AWS); have knowledge of Cisco's Spine-Leafs architecture for data centers; have experience with the SNMP protocol and with Zabbix and Grafana tools; have experience with Linux environments; have experience with programming languages for task automation (Shell Script and Python); and have an intermediate or advanced level of technical English reading/writing skills. The successful candidate will be based in the Networks area. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 11,513.04, plus meal and/or food allowance, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, and parking.

The main responsibilities of the position are: configuring and managing Cisco Switches and Routers; configuring and managing Paloalto Firewalls; configuring and managing Aerohive/Extreme Wireless Networks; configuring network protocols such as IPSEC, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VTP, HSRP, STP, HRSP, VRRP, and BGP; installing network devices and managing high availability mechanisms; installing and managing security and quality of service mechanisms; monitoring network performance and capacity; identifying hardware problems; configuring Fanvil 1XSG phones; integrating with Linux network services such as DHCP, OpenLDAP, DNS, Radius, SAMBA, FTP, and SSH; and handling network and telephony support requests.
