IMPA opens selection process for the position of psychologist.
IMPA has an open position for a Psychologist 1. Candidates must have a completed undergraduate degree in psychology; an active professional license from the Regional Psychology Council; specialization in clinical and institutional psychopedagogy; and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience working with adolescents, administering psychological behavioral assessment tests, administering vocational tests, specialization in Educational Psychology, and intermediate English are desirable. The successful candidate will be based in the Psychopedagogical Support area of IMPA Tech. The employment contract is CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The salary is R$ 6,339.54, plus meal and/or food vouchers, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, and parking. The main responsibilities of the position are: psychological counseling and support for undergraduate students; management of psychological crisis situations among students; coordination with public health services; production of psychological reports on students; development of mental health care protocols; support for the Psychopedagogical Support Center; and support in the management of university extension programs.
