IMPA opens selection process for designer and IT specialist.
IMPA opened this Tuesday (5) a selection process to hire two professionals for the positions of designer and IT specialist.
See below for the prerequisites for each position and the application deadlines.
Designer 1
To be eligible for the position, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Design with an emphasis on Visual Communication or Digital Media; have proven experience in Design and/or Internal Marketing; be proficient in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma; and have an intermediate or advanced level of technical English reading comprehension. Applications are open until March 14th.
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Institutional Communication area. The employment contract is CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 7,994.04, plus meal and/or food allowance, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, and parking.

The main responsibilities of the position are: creation and development of graphic pieces for print and digital formats, such as posters, flyers, book covers, internal signage, awards, etc.; creation of visual concepts for IMPA campaigns and projects; creation and updating of the IMPA institutional website and other websites in WordPress, and ensuring that the IMPA visual identity is applied following the established guidelines.

IT Specialist 1
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a degree in Information Technology or related fields; experience in IT support in a business environment; experience in maintaining desktops, laptops, and printers; experience in installing, configuring, and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems; experience in managing users and computers linked to a Microsoft Active Directory environment; experience in installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other Google applications; knowledge of network services (IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, Subnets, LAN, and Wi-Fi) and configuring these services on Windows and Linux workstations; and the ability to create and update process and procedure documentation.
The successful candidate will be based in the Administrative/Financial Management (IMPA Tech). The employment contract is CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 4,236.98, plus meal and/or food allowance, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, and parking.
The main responsibilities of the position are: providing level 1 technical support to all end users of IMPA TECH (external and internal clients); receiving, registering, and acting on incident and service requests using the FreshService ITSM system; providing support to users in person, remotely (TeamViewer), by phone, and via chat, etc.; diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems; installing and configuring Windows, Linux, and other operating systems necessary for the proper functioning of the site; creating OS images to automate installations; maintaining control of the institution's IT assets; managing user and email accounts (creating, unlocking, blocking, and changing passwords); managing email groups (creating, managing access permissions, and setting sending configurations); providing necessary support to the infrastructure, IT security, and systems teams; and performing other activities related to the position.
