IMPA opens selection process for administrative analyst 1
IMPA opened this Friday (1st) a selection process for hiring an Administrative Analyst 1 and an IT Specialist 2. Check below the prerequisites for each position and the application deadlines.
Administrative Analyst 1 / Applications until September 15th
To be eligible for the position, you must have a degree in Administration or related fields; experience in an educational administration office; experience in assisting students and faculty; intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Education Management Department. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, in-person, with a weekly workload of 40 hours, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 4,236.98 and the position includes benefits such as medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

The main responsibilities of the position are: operating selection processes; assisting candidates; monitoring the registration system; verifying documentation; enrolling students; assisting and monitoring students; managing the academic system; issuing reports, transcripts, and diplomas; interacting with students and faculty; and other activities related to the Undergraduate Studies Office.
It is desirable that the candidate have experience in drafting regulations and calls for proposals; experience in managing the implementation of scholarships in funding agencies; experience with the Protheus ERP system; experience in administering national exams and proficiency in other foreign languages.

IT Specialist 2 / Applications until September 15th
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; solid experience in network administration and configuration; experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Aerohive/Extreme, Dell, and HP equipment; experience with cloud environments (Oracle, Google, AWS); knowledge of Cisco's Spine-Leafs architecture for data centers; experience with the SNMP protocol and with Zabbix and Grafana tools; experience with Linux environments; experience in programming languages for task automation (Shell Script and Python); and an intermediate or advanced level of technical English reading comprehension.
The successful candidate will be based in the Systems and Network area. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, in a remote work format, with a 40-hour work week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 11,513.04 and the position includes benefits such as medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.
The main responsibilities of the position are: configuring and managing Cisco Switches and Routers; configuring and managing Paloalto Firewalls; configuring and managing Aerohive/Extreme Wireless Networks; configuring network protocols such as IPSEC, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VTP, HSRP, STP, and BGP; installing network devices and managing high availability mechanisms; installing and managing security and quality of service mechanisms; monitoring network performance and capacity; identifying hardware problems; and integrating with Linux network services such as: DHCP, OpenLDAP, DNS, Radius, SAMBA, FTP, and SSH.
It is desirable that the candidate has Cisco certification; Palo Alto certification; and Linux certification.
