IMPA opens public call for PCI research grant.

IMPA has opened a public call for applications for a fellow to work in the Institutional Capacity Building Program (PCI) in modality D, level B. The selected candidate will participate in research on dynamical systems and related topics, focusing on dynamical Markov and Lagrange spectra. Applications must be submitted bycompleting and sending the form to pci@impa.br by 11:59 PM on July 20th.

The scholarship, worth R$ 4,160.00, will be managed by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development – CNPq and financed with resources from the budget of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

To apply, you must be a Brazilian citizen or a foreign resident with regular immigration status in the country, or a non-resident foreigner with a temporary migration visa; have an updated curriculum registered on the Lattes Platform and have a profile and experience suitable for the PCI scholarship level of the application.

Candidates may not have received a PCI scholarship for a period equal to or greater than 60 months; they may not have had a direct or indirect employment relationship, nor retirement benefits from the same institution executing the project; they may not maintain an employment relationship with institutions or companies in Brazil and may not accumulate this aid with any other type of scholarship from any public or private funding institution.

Applications will be reviewed based on the candidate's prior experience in scientific, technological, or innovation projects in the field; the suitability of the candidate's profile to the project to be supported; and the alignment of the candidate's academic and professional background with the required skills and activities.

The list of all evaluated, approved, and unapproved applications will be published on the IMPA Institutional Capacity Building Program page , according to the schedule. It is the candidate's responsibility to contact IMPA in a timely manner to obtain information or clarifications.
