IMPA opens public call for PCI research grant.

IMPA opened this Monday (18) a public call for the selection of a scholarship holder in the area of probability and statistical mechanics, to work on the project “Scale limits of interacting particle systems”. The research takes place within the scope of the Institutional Capacity Building Program (PCI) , in modality D, level B.

Applications must be submitted by completing and sending the registration form and consent form to pci@impa.br by September 24th . Registration can be done via this link .

The scholarships will be managed by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and funded with resources from the budget of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

It is mandatory that the candidate be Brazilian, a foreign resident in Brazil with regular immigration status in the country, or a non-resident foreigner with a temporary immigration visa. It is also necessary to have a registered and updated curriculum on the Lattes Platform and a profile and experience suitable for the PCI scholarship level of the application.

Candidates may not have received a PCI scholarship for a period equal to or greater than 60 months, nor have had a direct or indirect employment relationship or retirement from the same institution executing the project. Those wishing to apply may also not maintain an employment relationship with institutions or companies in Brazil, nor accumulate this aid with any other type of scholarship from any public or private funding institution.

A list of all applications that have been reviewed, approved, and not approved will be published on the IMPA Institutional Capacity Building Program page, according to the schedule.
