IMPA is selecting programmers in JAVA and PHP.

IMPA is selecting two programmers, one in JAVA and the other in PHP, for the position of IT Specialist 2. To apply for the positions, it is essential to have a completed higher education degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, mathematics or related fields, and experience in developing and maintaining web-based information systems, in ANSI-SQL, in REST Web services and in JavaScript programming, in addition to an intermediate or advanced level of reading in technical English.

For the PHP programmer position, significant experience programming in PHP 7+ and using the Laravel framework is also required. Candidates for the Java programmer position must have significant experience programming in Java 8+ and using the Spring Boot framework and the Hibernate tool. Those hired will be based in the Systems Development Coordination department at IMPA.

The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), with a 40-hour work week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 7,016.01, with benefits such as medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

The main duties and responsibilities of the positions are Fullstack PHP7+ development, for the PHP programmer position, and Full Stack JAVA 8+ development, for the JAVA programmer positions, in addition to creating technical documentation about the systems, in all cases.

Experience in Scrum, data modeling, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3, Git for version control, and use of the Linux operating system is desirable, as is knowledge of Design Patterns.

Candidates will be pre-selected based on an analysis of submitted documents. Those selected for the second stage of the selection process will be notified by email by the Human Resources Department. Those selected will then proceed through the following stages: curriculum analysis, practical technical test, individual interview, and theoretical technical test, which will be conducted during the interview.

The list of qualified candidates will be available on the IMPA website, ranked according to their final score. If all vacancies remain unfilled, the selection process will begin again with the publication of a new notice. More information is available at this link .
