EBP starts on July 30th in São Paulo.

Every day after each class, participants will have access to a form on the Google Classroom platform with a question about the course to be answered within 24 hours. Only those enrolled who complete all forms and the final assessment, which will take place on August Wednesdays, will receive a certificate of participation.

“The Prolímpico program aims to offer primary and secondary school teachers an opportunity to improve their knowledge of content and teaching strategies used in the classroom, involving themes and problems from mathematics olympiads,” explained Krerley Oliveira, the program coordinator.

Held since 2020, the program is divided into four modules. Level A is aimed at teachers of Elementary School I and covers content from the Tuesdays to the Thursdays grade. Level 1 focuses on teachers of Elementary School II, from the Fridays and 7th grades; level 2 encompasses teachers from the 8th to the 9th grade, and finally, level 3 is aimed at High School teachers. It is possible to register for more than one module.

The program aims to share more specific knowledge with participants, according to their area of expertise, and to encourage an Olympic culture from an early age in schools.

“The enthusiasm and engagement in the program has been great, with a significant number of participants. This indicates how the Olympiads contribute to improving education in the country,” highlighted Samuel Oliveira, who is also the coordinator of the Prolímpico program.
