IMPA is hiring an Executive Secretary for its Board of Directors.

IMPA has opened applications for the position of Executive Secretary. To be eligible, candidates must have a completed higher education degree in Secretarial Studies or another course that demonstrates at least 36 months of experience in the field, as well as fluent English and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Applications are open until June 17th (Monday).
The successful candidate will be based at the Directorate, at IMPA headquarters (Jardim Botânico, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro). Under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, the workload is 40 hours per week (9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday). The salary is R$ 4,071.59. Benefits include medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), career development plan, childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

Desirable qualifications for the position include experience with Third Sector organizations or public companies; basic knowledge of Word; experience in executive secretarial work; and intermediate Spanish.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include managing the directors' schedules; preparing reports and correspondence for the Board of Directors; organizing meetings, presentations, and receptions; managing corporate travel; organizing videoconference meetings; preparing institutional presentations; and organizing files, among other activities.
There will be a pre-selection of candidates based on an analysis of the documents submitted with the application. Those selected will be notified by email by the Human Resources Department. It is important to note that only those who meet the minimum requirements for the position will participate in the next stage of the selection process, which consists of the following phases: general knowledge test; text translation; and individual interviews in English and Portuguese. The list of qualified candidates, in order of ranking according to their final score, will be available on the IMPA website.
