IMPA is hiring an Administrative Analyst.

IMPA announces an opening for an Administrative Analyst. Those interested can apply for the selection process until January 15th by emailing vagas@impa.br with the subject line: “Selection – Administrative Analyst 1 (GPP)” .
The candidate must send the message along with an updated resume indicating their full name, ID number, PIS number, CPF number, date of birth, phone number, address, and email.
The successful candidate will be based at the Project Coordination office, at IMPA's headquarters in Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, the work schedule is 40 hours per week (8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday). The salary is R $ 3,593. Benefits include medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), career development plan, childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

Essential requirements for candidates include a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, intermediate spoken and written English, and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel. Skills such as proactivity, commitment, punctuality, organization, communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team will be considered advantageous in the selection process.
The main duties and responsibilities of the position are: providing administrative support to the institute's researchers; managing projects and accountability procedures; monitoring the opening of calls for proposals and project validity periods; preparing and disseminating calls for support for scientific activities; implementing undergraduate and postdoctoral research grants; monitoring the processes of grant recipients in the funding agencies' systems; acquiring items related to projects, such as travel and equipment; and controlling and monitoring researchers' absences within and outside the country.
Steps
There will be a pre-selection of candidates based on an analysis of the documents submitted with the application. Those selected will be notified by email by the Human Resources Department.
It is important to emphasize that only those who meet the minimum requirements for the position will participate in the next stage of the selection process, which consists of the following phases: essay, English test, and individual interviews.
The list of qualified candidates, ranked according to their final score, will be available on the IMPA website. The hiring of the selected candidate will follow the ranking order.
