IMPA is hiring a social worker.

IMPA announced this Monday (29) the opening of the selection process for hiring a professional for the position of social worker and the extension of the registration period for the IT specialist 2 position. Check out the information.

Applications for the social worker position are open until May 6th. To be eligible for the position, candidates must have a completed degree in Social Work; active registration with the Regional Council of Social Work (CRESS); and prior experience in psychosocial roles, preferably in educational settings.

The hired individual will be assigned to the Psychopedagogical Support area. The employment contract is CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a workload of 30 hours per week, from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 4,801.43, plus meal and/or food allowance, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare assistance, and parking.

The main responsibilities of the position are: assessing the psychosocial needs of undergraduate students; planning and implementing social interventions for students in vulnerable situations; managing crises and providing support in emergency situations; working in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams and public health services; producing detailed documentation and reports on the cases handled; developing and coordinating student support and accommodation programs; actively participating in university extension activities and projects; among other activities.
