IMPA is hiring a financial assistant.
IMPA opened a public selection process this Tuesday (29) for Financial Analyst 1. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable through integrated system control; preparing documentation and files for submission to the bank; bank reconciliation in relation to payments made. Applications must be submitted by sending a resume to vagas@impa.br with the subject line: “Financial Analyst IMPA”. Applications will be accepted until November 12th. To participate in the selection process, the candidate must have a higher education degree in Business Administration or Accounting. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and experience in accounts payable, treasury, and tax withholding procedures are also prerequisites.
Desirable requirements include experience with activities inherent to payment routines, such as sending files to banking institutions, and experience with control tools and ERP systems, preferably Protheus. Skills such as organization, good interpersonal relationships, and proactivity are also important.

IMPA hosts Workshop on Analytical Number Theory
The employment contract is a full-time, in-person position under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The offered salary is R$ 5,763.58, in addition to medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy); childcare allowance; parking; meal and/or food vouchers; and transportation allowance.
The selection process includes two stages for evaluating applicants. In the recruitment phase, HR will pre-select candidates based on a review of their resumes and minimum requirements for the position. The next stage, the selection phase, involves a written test in Portuguese and an advanced Excel test. In addition, those selected will participate in interviews with the Selection Committee.
The final results of the selection process will be published on the IMPA website, in order of ranking, on November 12th. Questions should be sent to the IMPA Directorate via email: vagas@impa.br.
