IMPA has two open selection processes.
Administrative Analyst 1 – Academic Extension Programs
IMPA is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Analyst 1, located in the Academic Extension Programs sector. To be eligible, candidates must hold a degree in administration, pedagogy, or related fields; experience in administration and/or logistics; basic English; proficiency in Microsoft Office; and availability for travel. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 5,041.49, plus meal and/or food vouchers, transportation allowance, parking, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), and childcare assistance.
The main responsibilities of the position are: assisting the general public; providing support in the preparation of academic program reports; managing academic systems; creating and controlling spreadsheets; organizing and controlling the area's files; interacting with students and faculty; and other related activities.

Laboratory Technician – Academic Management (IMPA Tech)
IMPA also has an open position for a laboratory technician, located in the Academic Management sector (IMPA Tech). To apply for the position, the candidate must have completed technical training in electronics, electrotechnics, mechatronics, industrial automation or related fields; possess basic knowledge of Arduino, including connection, software programming and hardware assembly; among other skills. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), in-person, from 7 am to 4 pm or 11 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 3,206.19, plus meal and/or food vouchers, transportation allowance, parking, medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), and childcare assistance.
The main responsibilities of the position are: organizing and preparing the equipment and materials necessary for practical classes and experiments; performing calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment; ensuring the proper functioning of instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multimeters and sensors, among other activities.
