IHS Towers offers a course for public school teachers.
The telecommunications company IHS Towers , in partnership with the Limitless Space Institute , is accepting applications for the Global Educators Project, a program that aims to train teachers in the Brazilian public school system in space education. Interested parties can apply until December 6th through the program's website . The company also maintains a partnership with OBMEP (Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad for Public Schools) and offers scholarships of R$ 900 for female medalists entering federal or state public universities.

The program includes classes, lectures, and workshops on the meaning of space exploration, the science that underpins space, its history, the space economy, sustainable exploration, and space ethics.
The program will last one year and will be taught in English; therefore, it is essential that educators are proficient in the language. Furthermore, to participate, teachers must live and work in Brazil. In total, 10 teachers from Brazil and 10 from Nigeria will be selected. Those selected will have the opportunity to travel to Houston, in the United States, to visit the Limitless Space Institute and participate in workshops. All travel expenses will be covered by the institute.
To complete the course, instructors will need to present a final project covering the content learned throughout the program. These projects will be presented to space industry experts and representatives from IHS Towers.
According to the announcement, the list of selected candidates will be released on January 5th. Questions can be sent to kaci@limitlessspace.org.
