Furthermore, IMPA is offering personalized gifts to the public. Ana Luísa Machado, IMPA's institutional communication coordinator, is attending the event and recognizes the importance of opportunities like this for disseminating national scientific production. "The SNCT is a great opportunity for scientific institutions, such as IMPA, to present themselves and publicize their proposals, strengthening dissemination and combating misinformation. We bring fun games and activities, as well as informative content about the Institute and our projects. In this way, we attract the public to learn about what we do and show the importance that Mathematics has directly for people," she said. In addition to President Lula and Minister Luciana Santos, Inácio Arruda, Secretary of Science and Technology for Social Development – SEDES, and Juana Nunes, Director of Popularization of Science, Technology and Scientific Education at the Secretariat of Science and Technology for Social Development – SEDES, also visited the IMPA stand.
