Good morning Rio: Olympics awards students from all over the country.
Reporter Marina Araújo covers the OBMEP awards ceremony, held at the Municipal Theater of Rio, and talks with gold medalists who came from numerous cities across Brazil. They discuss their passion for mathematics and its importance, and protest against the cuts in federal funding that threaten the holding of the Olympiad next year.
