Enrollment for PROFMAT students ends on Friday.

The registration period for those approved to take the Professional Master's Degree in Mathematics in the National Network (PROFMAT) ends this Friday (26). The last selection process offered 1,775 places, distributed across the 74 institutions associated with the program in all regions of the country.

Enrollment will take place at the partner institutions. Candidates must register at their selected institution at the time of application. Each campus will determine the deadline, location, and time for enrollment, and may close it before the deadline stipulated in the notice (January 26).

Coordinated by the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM) and supported by IMPA, PROFMAT is a blended learning course aimed at graduates from all fields interested in improving their knowledge of Mathematics. Validated with the highest grade (5) by the Ministry of Education, the program aims to support practicing Mathematics teachers in Basic Education, especially in public schools.

Remaining vacancies

If the selected candidates do not enroll at the chosen institution within the stipulated period, the remaining vacancies will be allocated to other approved candidates for the same campus, respecting the descending order of the total score and the tie-breaking criteria.

The list with the names of the candidates who will fill the remaining vacancies will be published by the partner institutions, as a way to ensure that all candidates have access to it.
