IMPA is selecting three professionals for the positions of IT Specialist 1, IT Specialist 2, and Legal Advisor 1. Applications for the Legal Advisor position are open until June 22nd, and for the IT Specialist positions until July 3rd. See below for details on how to participate in the selection processes.

Legal Advisor.

To be eligible for the position, candidates must have a completed law degree; an active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) (to be proven upon hiring); intermediate English skills; an interest in working as a generalist; and prior experience compatible with the responsibilities of the position in an in-house legal department or law firm. The successful candidate will be assigned to the legal department. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, in-person, with a 40-hour work week, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 3,850.98, plus meal and/or food allowance, medical and dental insurance.

The main responsibilities of the position include filing, scanning, and organizing legal documents; registering and updating information in spreadsheets and internal systems (e.g., Protheus and Zeev); requesting, verifying, and controlling the sending of documentation by third parties; conducting research on doctrine, jurisprudence, and legislation; in addition to other duties.

Ideally, the candidate should have specialization or experience in the area of Public Law with an emphasis on bidding processes, administrative contracts, or the third sector; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); specialization and/or experience in the area of Private Law with an emphasis on contracts or civil liability; and knowledge of the Protheus and/or Zeev systems.

IT Specialist 2:

To be eligible for this position, you must have solid experience working with system administration or configuration; a completed higher education degree in information technology or related fields; experience with VMware ESXi 8x; experience with Linux network servers and services such as DHCP, OpenLDAP, DNS, Radius, SAMBA, FTP, SSH, Apache, Sendmail, NFS, and IPv6; experience with MySQL and PGSQL database servers; experience with programming languages for task automation (Shell Script and Python); experience in a DevOps environment (GIT, Terraform, and Ansible); experience with cloud environments (Oracle, Google, AWS); and an intermediate or advanced level of technical English reading comprehension.

The successful candidate will be based in the Systems and Network department, working from home. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), with a 40-hour work week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 11,513.04 and the position includes benefits such as medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

The main responsibilities of the position are: configuring and managing the VMware ESXi 8x environment; installing, managing, and decommissioning Linux virtual servers; installing and managing high availability mechanisms, failover clustering; managing the backup and restore policy of computer systems; troubleshooting hardware and server performance issues, adjusting new configurations in a production environment; monitoring performance and capacity; and adjusting the configuration of the Zabbix monitoring tool.

IT Specialist 1:

To be eligible for this position, you must have a completed higher education degree in information technology or related fields; solid experience working with system administration or configuration; experience with VMware ESXi 6x; experience with Linux network servers and services such as: DHCP, OpenLDAP, DNS, Radius, SAMBA, FTP, SSH, Apache, WordPress, PHP, Java, Sendmail, NFS and IPv6; experience with MySQL and PGSQL database servers; and experience in programming languages for task automation such as Shell Script and Python.

The successful candidate will be based in the Information Technology Management department, in a hybrid model. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), with a weekly workload of 40 hours, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 6,658.48 and the position includes benefits such as medical and dental assistance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

Apprentice

IMPA is also selecting a professional for an apprenticeship position. To apply, intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word is required. The successful candidate will be based in the Financial Management department from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm. The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law) regime, and the salary is R$ 771.98.

The main responsibilities of the position are: receiving, analyzing, and executing requests from the institution's coordination and management; carrying out the registration (recording in the Protheus-ERP system) of all assets acquired/incorporated into IMPA; controlling and issuing asset labels/tags and terms of responsibility for assets during their acquisition and movement; monitoring asset movements, updating new locations and responsible parties in the Protheus ERP system; conducting periodic visits for guidance, inventory, and asset registration purposes; assisting the Inventory Committee in conducting semi-annual inventories; preparing and issuing reports, among other tasks.
