Brazilian girls win three awards in Switzerland.

Girls from the Brazilian EGMO (European Girls Mathematical Olympiad) team pose for a photo in Europe.

The old continent brought, in addition to beautiful memories, new developments for Brazilian mathematics. The team that competed in the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) definitely made history and will bring two unprecedented awards to Brazil, as well as an honorable mention.

Mariana Groff Bigolin and Jamile Rebouças each won a bronze medal, and Júlia Perdigão Saltiel received an honorable mention.

The Brazilian team, which also included Juliana Carvalho de Souza, achieved the second-best ranking in Latin America in the EGMO team ranking, and 26th place overall. See more information at https://goo.gl/KPJtyX
