Applications for the legal advisor position have been extended.

IMPA has opened a selection process for the position of Legal Advisor 1. To apply for the position, it is essential to have: a completed higher education degree in Law; active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB); interest in working as a generalist with a focus on compliance, risk management and internal controls, law and technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office; and advanced English. The successful candidate will be based in IMPA's Legal Coordination department.

The employment contract is under the CLT (Brazilian labor law), with a 40-hour work week, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is R$ 4,017.81, with benefits such as medical and dental insurance (partial subsidy), childcare allowance, parking, and meal and/or food vouchers.

The main responsibilities of the position include working on the development, implementation, and execution of the Integrity Program and the Risk and Control Management Program; preparing, reviewing, and controlling the process of updating internal regulations and process mapping; and supporting the preparation and delivery of training and assisting the work of the Integrity Committee; among others.

Specialization or experience in the areas of compliance, governance, risk and internal controls; intellectual property and the Legal Framework for Science, Technology and Innovation; and knowledge of Power BI is desirable.

There will be a pre-selection of candidates based on the analysis of submitted documents. Those called for the second stage of the selection process will be notified by email by the IMPA Human Resources Coordination. Those selected will go through the stages of curriculum analysis, English tests, specific knowledge tests, writing tests, and individual interviews. The list of qualified candidates will be available on the IMPA website on December 10th, in order of ranking according to the final score obtained.
