The Municipal Urban Planning Department (SMU) issued the construction license (LO) for the new campus.

November

Adjustments to the construction project for the new campus to meet the demands of IMPA researchers.

The project was presented to the public licensing authorities at a technical forum involving IPHAN and Rio’s Environment and Urban Planning departments.

2017

August

The company Centro de Tecnologia de Edificações (CTE) has been hired as project manager for the construction of the new campus.

April

The construction project for the new campus was presented to the Botanical Garden Residents’ Association (AMA-JB) and residents of Barão de Oliveira Castro street, who requested changes.

2015

September

The architectural firm Andrade&Morettin was hired to develop the construction project for the new campus after being selected by tender.

2014

June

IMPA receives the land at 60 Barão de Oliveira Castro Street as a private donation.
