GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read the form below carefully. If you have any questions, please contact the Operational Infrastructure Coordination at the telephone numbers listed at the bottom of this page.
Come to IMPA, room 117, from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Access will be granted immediately after all documentation has been submitted, as specified in the Opening Hours section.
Documents will only be accepted with the form, which must be printed out and filled in beforehand.
The wallet will be ready within 7 (seven) working days and must be picked up from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
ISSUING THE CARD
Print out and fill in all the fields on the Access Request Form (not provided by the institution) and the Responsibility Form. Please bring them completed.
Attach the following documents:
– Copy of ID
– Copy of proof of residence for self or parents
– Copy of diploma or statement from institution
– 2 photos 3X4
RENEWAL
To renew your license, you must present all the documents previously required.
WALLET MODEL
– Gray Card: Proven undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Mathematics, Economics or Physics
– Blue Card: former Master’s or PhD students
– White Card: other areas (valid only for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
OPENING HOURS
– Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
– Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: CLOSED (on weekends we only have one classroom available for studying).
Maximum limit of 45 external users.
In the event of maintenance, where access to the building is not possible, notice will be given at the guardhouse and on the notice boards at least 5 days in advance.
JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND BRAZILIAN MATH COLLOQUIUM
Users of the other areas (White Card) will not be allowed access.
GENERAL STANDARDS
– Turn off any sound devices in the Study Hall;
– Do not occupy tables and chairs with belongings that prevent more than one person from using the larger tables;
– Do not eat and/or drink in the Study Room;
– Maintain absolute silence inside the Study Room and in its surroundings;
– Collaborate to maintain the cleanliness of the Study Room, as well as the toilets;
– Access to the computer labs and administrative areas on the 1st and 2nd floors, as well as all areas on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building, including common areas, is not permitted;
– Do not leave your belongings when you leave IMPA. In this case, the security guard will collect all the material and deliver it to the Administration. IMPA is not responsible for users’ belongings;
– When leaving IMPA, the security guards will register the user’s departure, and the user will then obey the limit established in the note on the OPERATING HOURS item;
– For any problems within the Study Room or on IMPA premises, users should contact the Operational Infrastructure Coordination (room 117), from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm.
PENALTIES
Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in the immediate loss (without prior notice) of the right to access, as described in the Term of Responsibility signed by the user at the time of registration.
