IMPA promotes activities during National Science and Technology Week 2017

 

National Science and Technology Week 2017

Under the umbrella of the Biennial of Mathematics Brazil 2017-2018, which was created in honor of the two major events in the field that will take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the National Week of Science and Technology – SNCT will have the theme “Mathematics is in everything!”

To celebrate this year’s SNCT, the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) has organized a varied and fun program!

From October 25 to 27, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Institute will hold lectures with teachers, various workshops, as well as an exhibition of 3D objects and a Film Club.

Participation by schools is subject to availability. To take part, you must confirm your interest by emailing contato@bieniodamatematica.org.br by October 18th. Confirmation of participation will be made in the order in which applications are received.
