X Workshop on Conservative Dynamics and Symplectic Geometry

The Workshop aims to bring together experts on Conservative Dynamics and Symplectic Geometry, from Brazil and abroad, in a leisurely ambiance. It is a special edition of the conference, celebrating 20 years of the meeting. Just as in the previous nine editions of the workshop, held at IMPA in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2023, the program includes a small number of lectures, leaving plenty of time for informal discussions.
The main topics are Symplectic Topology with applications to Hamiltonian Dynamics, Contact Geometry, Dynamics of Lagrangian Systems and Twist Maps, Integrable Systems, Aubry-Mather theory, among others.

*Official hotels and agencies are not allowed to contact participants, unless they have already contacted the hotel previously. If you have received a message from Global Travel Experts it is not from the organization of the event, probably a scam. All the official messages about the event are sent by the e-mail vivos@impa.br.*

Registration

Financial Support

The Organizing Committee is dedicated to finding resources to offer financial support to students and postdocs. However, we encourage those who can to use their bench fees or project resources to do so.

For those applying you must attach a short CV in pdf format on the registration form. For students, it is also necessary a recommendation letter from the advisor. The deadline is May 23rd and the selected people will be notified by June 2nd, 2025.
