IMPA Open Doors
The Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics opens its doors to students and teachers from the public school system who are interested in visiting the Institute.
The main objective of the program is to bring the public closer to IMPA and provide visitors with the opportunity to get to know the Institute and participate in different and innovative experiences.
The program accepts up to 40 applications per institution, with a minimum of two applications from teachers/class leaders. Each student must be enrolled individually.
To register students, we recommend having the following data at hand: full name, date of birth, nationality, academic degree, institution, PCD (type), gender, email.
Admission is free and the number of places is limited.
About the visit
- Entry by registration only, depending on the number of places available.
- Transportation is the responsibility of the registered school or institution. Buses will have to drop students off at the end of lines 409 and 416 and return to another place to park. Students and teachers will have to walk up to the IMPA entrance. There is no space for buses to go up or into IMPA.
- It will not be possible to open the parking lot for any registered/visitor vehicle on the day of the event.
