IMPA on the road to mathematics is a new project that promotes and encourages elementary school students from public and private schools to get closer to mathematics.
The project consists of a visit by an IMPA researcher to a school to give a lecture, chat, workshop or other fun activity involving mathematics. The aim is to bring students closer to this science, seeking to demystify it and valuing its presence and importance in everyday life.
The presentations/activities have accessible language, with themes that allow us to get closer to the target audience and stimulate their interest in mathematics.
