Geometry in Algebra, Algebra in Geometry

We are happy to announce the 8th edition of the workshop "Geometry in Algebra, Algebra in Geometry", an event whose aim is to bring together researchers and postgraduate students with interests at the interface between geometry and algebra, to foster the exchange of ideas, discuss recent contributions, and open new research avenues. The workshop program will include 3 minicourses, invited lectures and a poster session.

Hotel Information

The best way is to look for a hotel on the website: booking.com
And add a filter of neighborhoods: Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana.
Also, there is one hotel in Botafogo: Ibis Rio de Janeiro Botafogo.
The best way to come to IMPA is by cab or uber.
IMPA is located in the yellow circle and hotels in the red circle. (booking.com)

*Official hotels and agencies are not allowed to make contact with participants (unless they, the participant, has themself initiated contact with the hotel). If you have received a message from Global Travel Experts it is not from the organization of the event, and probably a scam. All official messages about the event will be sent from the e-mail eventos@impa.br.*
