International Research Laboratory - IRL2924 Jean-Christophe Yoccoz CNRS/IMPA

International Research Laboratory – IRL2924 J.-C. Yoccoz CNRS/IMPA is a research unit of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France) located at IMPA. It was created through an agreement signed by IMPA and CNRS in 2006, which has been regularly renewed since. Starting from 2017, the IRL2924 honors Jean-Christophe Yoccoz, a long time visitor and friend of Brazilian mathematics.

The IRL2924 allows mathematicians from CNRS or any French university to visit IMPA for a one-year period to colaborate with Brazilian colleagues with all costs covered by CNRS and their institutions.

French researchers interested in visiting IMPA within the scope of the IRL2924 should send their application (curriculum plus research project) by e-mail to dac@impa.br until October 31st  of each year. Applications will be evaluated by IMPA’s Scientific Activities Committee, based on its scientific merit and establishing priorities for young applicants.
