Mathematician Caucher Birkar to receive new Fields Medal
The organizing committee of the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2018) will present a replacement Fields Medal to Caucher Birkar on Saturday the 4th of August, at midday, in Pavilion 6, Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro.
Journalists who wish to cover the event must be accredited at the press credential stand in Pavillion 5 by 11 a.m. sharp on Saturday 4th August.
