IMPA selects researchers for two tenure track positions
IMPA is selecting candidates for two tenure track positions in Mathematics and Industrial and Applied Mathematics. The applications opened this Monday (26), and the deadline is November 1st, 2021. The results will be announced in December, 2021, and the selected applicant should start activities at IMPA at some point between January and September 2022.
Tenure-Track Position in Mathematics
The position is open to all fields of Mathematics, both Pure and Applied. Tenure will be considered during the first four years. The monthly salary will be between R$21.690,88 and R$29.706,85.

Tenure-Track Position in Industrial and Applied Mathematics
This position is intended for candidates with a strong research record in Applied Mathematics, including, but not restricted to, Data Science, Operations Research, and Statistics. Applications exhibiting the potential to establish collaborations with the Industry, broadly understood, are especially welcome.
Tenure will be considered during the first four years. The monthly salary will be between R$21.690,88 and R$29.706,85.
