X Workshop on Conservative Dynamics and Symplectic Geometry

IMPA, Rio de Janeiro, July 14 – 18th, 2025

The Workshop aims to gather experts on Conservative Dynamics and Symplectic Geometry, from Brazil and abroad, in a leisurely ambiance. It is a special edition of the conference, celebrating 20 years of the meeting. Just as in the previous nine editions of the workshop, held at IMPA in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2023, the program includes a small number of lectures, leaving plenty of time for informal discussions.
 
The main topics are Symplectic Topology with applications to Hamiltonian Dynamics, Contact Geometry, Dynamics of Lagrangian Systems and Twist Maps, Integrable Systems, Aubry-Mather theory, among others.
 

Financial Support: The Organizing Committee is dedicated to finding resources to offer financial support to students and postdocs. However, we encourage those who can to use their bench fees or project resources to do so.

For those applying you must attach a short CV in pdf format on the registration form. For students, it is also necessary a recommendation letter of the advisor. The deadline is April 15th and the selected people will be notified by May 2nd, 2025.
