Masters program
The
Masters program at IMPA is designed to provide a fast access to the PhD program. Students are offered the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in several areas of pure and applied Mathematics, allowing them to teach at the undergraduate level or practice professional activities that involve applications of Mathematics to technical or scientific problems.
The
course is offered in the following areas: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
IMPA has the IMPA Post-Graduate Association (APG-IMPA), which is an organization of students for students, in which actions are promoted and supported that aim to help everyone to have a better experience at the institute. The goal is collective articulation seeking better study conditions, rights and opportunities, and offering welcome, fraternization and fun.
