IMPA Open Doors
The Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics opens its doors to public school students and teachers who are interested in visiting the Institute.
The main objective of the program is to bring the public closer to IMPA and give visitors the opportunity to get to know the Institute and take part in different and innovative experiences.
The program accepts up to 40 applications per institution, with at least two applications from teachers/class leaders. Each student must be registered individually.
Admission is free and places are limited.

About the visit
- Entry by registration only, depending on the number of places available.
- Transportation is the responsibility of the registered school or institution. Buses will have to drop students off at the end of lines 409 and 416 and return to another place to park. Students and teachers will have to walk up to the IMPA entrance. There is no space for buses to go up or into IMPA.
- It will not be possible to open the parking lot to any vehicles of registrants/visitors on the day of the event.
