Sérgio Tadao Martins

Born in São Paulo, he got to know Mathematics through the Olympics. After a brief tour of Computer Science as an undergraduate (Unicamp), he returned to the mathematical path in his master’s and doctorate, the first in Differential Equations and the second in Algebraic Topology, both at the University of São Paulo. He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
